What?

• Live Audition in the Music Room with a karaoke track which is provided below.  Sign up for a date and time on the Music Room door. 
• ​Why?

• It gives the directing team the information they need to place actors in the best role to create the production the way they envision it.
• It shows integrity and commitment to something you love.
• It allows you to build experience, confidence, and perseverance by putting yourself out there on a stage.

​When?

• Live auditions run from Oct. 17 - Oct. 21, 2022 - mostly at lunch hours with one option for after school on Friday of audition week.

​How?

• Look at the character list.
• Look at and consider the scenes and song selections.
• Sign up on the Music Room door for an audition time slot.
• Fill out the digital audition form on Teams with the correct information prior to your audition date.
• Use the audition audio files and lyrics in the Teams folder to help you prepare.
• Your actual audition will be done with the karaoke (or accmp) track.
• PRACTICE!  PRACTICE!  PRACTICE! - Singing your audition in front of other people before audition day is a GREAT idea.

​Results?

• We will do our best to pot the cast list within 1 week of completing auditions.
• A cast list will be posted on the Music Room door and an audio announcement will be made about the list being available.
• You may or may not get the exact role you wanted.  There are no small roles as view every part as important.  Be supportive of your fellow performers and invest yourself into your role 1000% no matter what it is.
